During Sunday’s series finale between the Brewers and Red Sox at Fenway Park, a heated exchange led to both teams clearing their benches and bullpens after the top of the seventh inning.
The incident occurred when Boston reliever Chris Martin and Milwaukee first-base coach Quintin Berry began a verbal confrontation.

The altercation began with two outs and a runner on third base. Christian Yelich of the Brewers grounded out to Dominic Smith, who then tossed the ball to Martin covering first base. As Martin walked along the first-base line toward Boston’s dugout, he and Berry engaged in a lively argument.
No physical altercations ensued, and order was quickly restored without any ejections. The Red Sox ultimately secured a 2-1 victory.
