Michael Malone Blasts Reporter After Nuggets’ Playoff Elimination by Timberwolves…

Michael Malone was furious on Sunday night…

The Denver Nuggets, the reigning NBA champions, faced a devastating Game 7 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, ending their run in the NBA Playoffs. The defeat was so frustrating that it spilled over into the postgame press conference, where head coach Michael Malone lashed out at a reporter for asking a “stupid a** question” about how he “felt” after the loss.

During their 98-90 loss, the Nuggets had once held a 20-point lead over the Timberwolves, only to see it collapse in a humiliating defeat. This left Denver feeling embarrassed and enraged, almost causing Malone to lose his temper completely. (RELATED: What The…? Kobe Bryant Was Nearly Traded To The Detroit Pistons: REPORT)

“How hard is it to absorb a loss like this after going up 20?” a reporter asked Malone.

Malone wasn’t in the mood for such questions, responding sharply and dismissively.

“The season’s over. That’s what’s hard. F**k being up by 20… Stupid a** questions,” Malone retorted.

I find it difficult to sympathize with the Denver Nuggets for three reasons: 1. They defeated my Miami Heat in last season’s NBA Finals, 2. I profited from their Game 7 loss, and 3. How can anyone not be entertained by Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves right now?

And this is coming from someone who mocked baseball legend Alex Rodriguez for buying the Timberwolves back in December… my take aged like milk, his purchase aged like wine.
