France’s home run off Alec Marsh in the fourth inning gave Seattle a 2-0 lead, and an unearned run added to their advantage in the second inning. Additional runs came from Josh Rojas and Luke Raley late in the game. Manager Scott Servais praised the team’s resilience and timely hitting.
Despite a strong start, Woo encountered trouble in the sixth inning after a lengthy delay caused by an umpire change. However, reliever Gabe Speier helped extinguish the threat. Woo, who struck out five and walked one, reflected on adjustments made since his previous start.
