Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker recently delivered a commencement speech at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas, where he took aim at President Joe Biden, gender ideology, and the pro-choice movement.
During his address, Butker expressed frustration with what he perceives as detrimental policies and leadership under the Biden administration, citing issues such as abortion, IVF, surrogacy, euthanasia, and what he sees as a growing acceptance of questionable cultural values in media.
Butker pointed to Biden as a central figure contributing to these problems, criticizing what he views as contradictory behavior in publicly embracing his Catholic faith while supporting policies that contradict Catholic teachings, such as abortion rights.

He also criticized other individuals, including those involved in Covid lockdown measures and proponents of what he describes as “dangerous gender ideologies,” for identifying as Catholic while advocating for positions that he believes go against Catholic doctrine.
In essence, Butker’s speech highlighted his concerns about the alignment between certain political and cultural movements and Catholicism, emphasizing the importance of consistent adherence to religious principles.
