REPORT: Baltimore Ravens in Pursuit of Steelers’ Promising Star to Boost Wide Receiver Corps…

The Baltimore Ravens, still looking to bolster their wide receiver lineup, are rumored to be eyeing free agent Martavis Bryant.

Despite a quiet offseason for the Ravens in terms of WR acquisitions, Anthony Palacios of Last Word on Sports suggests that Bryant could be a potential addition to the team.

With Odell Beckham Jr. gone, the Ravens need a veteran presence like Bryant to fill the gap, especially considering their recent AFC conference championship loss. Palacios also lists other potential destinations for Bryant, including the Chiefs, Steelers, Chargers, and Saints.

Bryant’s career has been tumultuous, marked by suspensions and off-field issues. Despite flashes of brilliance, particularly during his time with the Steelers and Raiders, he has not played since the 2018 season.

At 32 years old, Bryant may not possess the same speed as before, but he could still offer valuable contributions to a team.

The Ravens’ receiving corps is currently lacking depth, especially after losing Beckham. While Zay Flowers showed promise in his rookie season, there are concerns about relying too heavily on him and tight end Mark Andrews for receptions.

Rashod Bateman’s injury history adds to the uncertainty, and newly added rookie Devontez Walker may not be ready for a significant role yet. Adding Bryant to the mix could provide much-needed support and alleviate pressure on the other receivers.
