Badgers Eyeing Quarterback Talent for 2026 Class…

The Wisconsin Badgers are eyeing potential talent for their quarterback position in the 2026 class. After securing commitments from four-star Mabrey Mettauer and three-star Landyn Locke for the 2024 and 2025 classes respectively, the focus now shifts to recruiting for the future.

Their latest prospect is Tait Reynolds, a 6’4, 195-pound quarterback from Arizona. Reynolds has garnered interest from 18 different schools, including Miami, Arizona, Florida State, Oregon, and Tennessee. Wisconsin, led by offensive coordinator Phil Longo, recently extended an offer to Reynolds, adding to their list of quarterback targets for the 2026 class.

In addition to Reynolds, the Badgers have offered scholarships to four other quarterbacks: five-star Faizon Brandon, four-star Dia Bell, four-star Jonas Williams, and four-star Will Griffin.

Although quarterback recruitment isn’t the top priority, given the success with previous classes, Wisconsin is ramping up efforts for the 2026 class. This recent surge in offers suggests a proactive approach to securing future talent, with Reynolds emerging as a notable prospect in their sights.

Badgers in the Running: Jay’viar Suggs Considers Wisconsin among Final Choices for Transfer…

The Wisconsin Badgers have secured a spot on the final list of potential destinations for Jay’viar Suggs, a standout defensive lineman transferring from Grand Valley State. Suggs revealed this on Tuesday, alongside his consideration of USC, Arkansas, Florida State, Kentucky, and Michigan.

During a recent visit to Wisconsin, Suggs reunited with former teammates Nyzier Fourqurean and coach Matt Mitchell, both of whom he worked with at Grand Valley State. Despite efforts to bolster their defensive line through transfers like Elijah Hills from Albany, the Badgers are still seeking additional depth.

With a track record of eight sacks in the last two seasons, Suggs brings considerable talent and two years of eligibility to his next team, making him more than just a short-term solution. Now, the question looms: Can Wisconsin outshine its competition and secure Suggs’ commitment amidst stiff competition from other prominent programs?
