“I have my doubts” – Doc Rivers Drops ‘Scary Updates’ on Giannis and Dame’s Injury Status Before Crucial Game 4…

The Milwaukee Bucks are facing a setback as they gear up for Game 4 against the Indiana Pacers, as star point guard Damian Lillard is likely to sit out due to a calf strain. Additionally, the return of former MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo remains uncertain.

Speaking to reporters on Saturday, Bucks coach Doc Rivers provided insight into Antetokounmpo’s condition, revealing that the forward, who has been sidelined for the entire first-round playoff series due to a calf strain, is progressing in his recovery and is scheduled for a workout session the following day.

“He’s scheduled for a workout tomorrow. We plan for an intense session early on, following which we’ll make a decision,” Rivers informed the press.

Despite signs of improvement in Antetokounmpo’s status, it appears unlikely that he will be ready for action in Game 4.

“I have my doubts, but we’ll assess the situation,” Rivers remarked.

As the Bucks find themselves trailing 2–1 in the first-round series against the Pacers, the upcoming away game holds significant importance. In the absence of Antetokounmpo and potentially Lillard, the burden of leading the Milwaukee offense will likely fall on Khris Middleton’s shoulders.

The crucial matchup is scheduled to commence at 7 p.m. ET on Sunday.”
