Doc Rivers, head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks, provided insight into Giannis Antetokounmpo’s absence in Game 1 against the Indiana Pacers due to a calf injury.
Despite earlier hopes for his participation, it was confirmed just before the game that Giannis would not be able to play.

Rivers mentioned that Giannis had shown some progress in his recovery, having engaged in shooting and movement exercises the day before.
However, he remained uncertain about Giannis’s activities on game day.
Looking ahead, with Game 2 scheduled for Tuesday, there’s optimism that Giannis will have additional time to prepare and possibly return to action.
