A victory would ensure their promotion to the Championship, along with clinching the title. However, a draw or even a loss might still be sufficient depending on other match outcomes.
Nevertheless, Mousinho acknowledges the challenge they face against Bolton, who are also vying for a top-two finish.
The manager states, “Ideally, we’d like to secure promotion this weekend, and that’s our primary aim. However, we understand it won’t be straightforward, and we must approach the game correctly.”
“We’re up against a team with their own ambitions, which will make for an intriguing contest. Yet, the rewards are significant if we can achieve our goal.”
Mousinho emphasizes the strength of Bolton as opponents, highlighting their talented squad and effective coaching.
He adds, “Our supporters will undoubtedly contribute to the atmosphere, fueling our excitement as we approach our objective.”
Regarding player fitness, Mousinho provides positive updates, noting the return of Tom Lowery to full training, which is a significant boost for the team. Additionally, Callum Lang is progressing well and could be available for the next game on Tuesday.
