Breaking: Why Top Prospect Caleb Williams Headlines Limited Attendees at Detroit NFL Draft…

Caleb Williams is set to take center stage in Detroit for the NFL Draft, where he’ll make his way across the platform to greet Roger Goodell.

Only 13 prospects have been confirmed to attend the draft, with Williams being the standout name among them.

Sporting a Chicago Bears cap, Williams will be among notable attendees such as quarterbacks Jayden Daniels from LSU and Drake Maye from North Carolina. The wide receiver lineup includes Marvin Harrison, Jr. from Ohio State, along with LSU’s Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas, and Rome Odunze from Washington. Alabama’s JC Latham is the lone offensive lineman expected in Detroit.

Representing the defensive side, Alabama’s Terrion Arnold and Quinyon Mitchell from Toledo will be present as defensive backs, while three edge players – Alabama’s Dallas Turner, UCLA’s Laiatu Latu, and Missouri’s Darius Robinson – round out the defensive contingent.

Compared to previous years, the number of prospects attending the draft has dwindled, with 21 in 2022 and 17 in 2023.

The sight of Caleb Williams in a Chicago Bears jersey might initially seem unusual, especially with the number ‘1’ on it instead of Fields, but come August, it’ll bear the name Johnson as Jaylon Johnson reclaims his college number.

With the draft marking the start of a new era for the Chicago Bears on April 25th, Williams will be present to witness the beginning of this exciting chapter.
