Portsmouth may need to find a replacement for Abu Kamara, who could soon return to Norwich City after an impressive loan spell.
With just four points needed for automatic promotion to the Championship, Pompey’s season looks promising. Kamara’s contributions, with nine goals and 11 assists, have been crucial to their success.
However, since he’s on loan from Norwich, retaining him for next season might be challenging.
Fulham’s Callum Osmand emerges as a potential replacement. Osmand, an 18-year-old forward, has been prolific for Fulham’s youth teams and is starting to make strides in senior football.
While Fulham might not be willing to part with him permanently, a loan spell at Portsmouth could be beneficial for his development and fill the gap left by Kamara.
Though Osmand’s transition to senior football is not guaranteed, his skillset aligns well with Kamara’s, making him a plausible option for Portsmouth as they prepare for potential Championship football.
