Shocking: Giannis Antetokounmpo back in Bucks’ lineup after 2-game absence while Middleton is out…

Giannis Antetokounmpo returns to the Milwaukee Bucks’ starting lineup against the Brooklyn Nets following a two-game absence due to a left hamstring problem. The team had described his issue as tendinopathy, which typically stems from overuse.

Although Antetokounmpo’s return boosts the team, the Bucks are still not at full strength. Khris Middleton will be resting after logging 33 minutes in a recent loss to the Boston Celtics, as the Bucks are carefully managing his playing time during his recovery from a sprained left ankle. Middleton had missed 16 consecutive games due to this injury before making his comeback in a victory over the Phoenix Suns.

Bucks coach Doc Rivers expressed satisfaction with Middleton’s performance despite his prolonged absence, emphasizing the importance of maintaining his current level of play.

Notably, the Bucks have not had their top three players—Antetokounmpo, Middleton, and seven-time all-NBA guard Damian Lillard—available for a game together since their win against the Dallas Mavericks on February 3rd.
