Update: Saddlers Trio Embark on International Duty…

Cayden Bennett, alongside two other Saddlers players, has embarked on international duties this week.

Liam Gordon is set to travel to Saudi Arabia with the Guyana team for matches against Cape Verde and Cambodia.

Similarly, Brandon Comley will join the Montserrat team this week.

Cayden Bennett, a defender for the Under 18s, has received a senior call-up to represent Saint Kitts & Nevis in their upcoming friendlies against San Marino. While Gordon and Comley have accumulated several international caps, this marks a debut opportunity for Bennett, potentially marking his first senior appearance for his country.

Ryan Simmonds, the Professional Development Phase Coach, expressed his delight at Bennett’s call-up, emphasizing the pride it brings to Bennett and his family. Simmonds believes Bennett has earned this opportunity, showcasing the talent within the football club.

The club extends its best wishes to all players on their international endeavors. Supporters are reminded that the fixture against Swindon Town scheduled for March 23rd has been postponed due to these international call-ups.
