Exclusive: 5-time NBA All-Star Indicate Interest in Signing Contract With Miami Heat…

A five-time NBA All-Star has expressed interest in joining the Miami Heat, who are currently 35-29 and the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference. The Heat, who are defending Eastern Conference champions, have recently acquired guards Terry Rozier via trade and Patty Mills through a buyout.

The addition of Rozier and Mills may not be the significant moves that Heat president Pat Riley had hoped for, especially considering Miami was expected to land Damian Lillard in a trade before he was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks.

The All-Star player, who last played with the Los Angeles Clippers in the 2022-23 season, appeared on an episode of The OGs with former Miami Heat players Udonis Haslem and Mike Miller. When asked about the possibility of joining the Heat, he expressed keen interest.

“I talk about that all the time. You know what I mean? Just feel like I can help them a lot,” the player said.

Injuries have plagued the player’s career, limiting him to just 96 games since the end of the 2017-18 season with the Washington Wizards. Despite this, he believes he can make a significant contribution to the Heat.

It remains unclear if Miami will pursue the player, given their recent acquisitions in the guard position. As of now, it seems like a long shot, but the player’s interest in joining the Heat could potentially lead to further discussions.
