Breaking: Chicago Bears Add Two More Assistant Coaches as Justin Fields’ Trade Framework Emerges in Recent Decision…

The Chicago Bears have expanded their coaching staff with the recent addition of two assistant coaches, enhancing both offensive and defensive dimensions of their team.

In the ongoing preparations for the 2024 season, the Bears initially unveiled new offensive coaching staff earlier in the week. Building upon this, the team has now finalized their coaching ensemble with the appointment of Ryan Griffin and Bryan Bing.

Griffin, making his debut as a coach, brings his expertise to work with quarterbacks and receivers. Notably, Griffin previously had a career as an NFL quarterback from 2013 to 2022, with a brief stint with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2019, earning a Super Bowl ring as their third-string quarterback after the 2020 season.

Despite recently signing with the Skorpions Varese in the Italian Football League, Griffin has chosen to embark on his coaching journey in Chicago.

On the defensive side, the Bears have enlisted Bryan Bing as the assistant defensive line coach. Bing boasts collegiate coaching experience from 2016 to 2022, and he served as a defensive assistant with the Indianapolis Colts in the previous season through the Tony Dungy Diversity Coaching Fellows program. Bing fills the role left vacant by Justin Hinds, who departed to become the defensive line coach for the Seattle Seahawks.

In other Bears news, there is growing speculation around a potential trade involving quarterback Justin Fields. Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer suggests that the foundational elements or “bones” of a trade for Fields could be established in the coming week.

With rumors circulating about the Bears possibly drafting a new rookie quarterback, there is a sense of inevitability regarding Fields’ departure. Breer emphasizes the importance of the Bears acting swiftly to maximize the return on Fields in a trade scenario.

Fields, who recently unfollowed the Bears on Instagram, has clarified that this was a move to declutter his social media before taking a vacation.

In an interview, he expressed his desire for a quick resolution to the ongoing speculation surrounding his future. Fields remains open about wanting to stay in Chicago, citing his love for the city, the vibrant fan base, and the overall positive experience.

However, he acknowledges the unpredictable nature of the business and emphasizes his lack of control over the situation, stating, “Whatever happens, happens.” The quarterback urges a timely decision, allowing him to focus on the upcoming offseason with undivided attention.
