Where do the Lions go from here? with Bryce Rossler | The Exempt List…

Bryce Rossler of Sports Info Solutions joins Charles McDonald to discuss the implications of this past weekend’s Conference Championship games and to respond to some of the most recent head coach and coordinator rumors circulating in the NFL. Starting off, Charles and Bryce discuss the Baltimore Ravens and their disappointing performance against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Charles believes the Kansas City defense can slow down the San Francisco 49ers and has high expectations for them. The two then talk about the NFC Championship game, the Detroit Lions’ future, whether or not to pay Jared Goff, and Brock Purdy’s underappreciated postseason play.
Subsequently, Ben Johnson of the Lions decides to stay in Detroit rather than accept a head coaching position, and Arthur Smith, the new offensive coordinator of the Pittsburgh Steelers (and what went wrong for him as a playcaller in Atlanta), are among the major coaching news that Charles and Bryce react to. The hosts discuss their best head coach hire to date (the Carolina Panthers are doing well!) and their opinions on offensive vs. defensive head coaches as they wrap up the episode.
