‘Quite Pathetic’ – Father of Kansas City Man Defends Son Host of Tragic NFL Watch Party, Denies Wrongdoing in Deaths…

The father of a Kansas City man, Jordan Willis, whose home was the site of a fatal incident where three individuals froze to death following an NFL game watch party, is asserting that his son is not at fault. Rodney Willis insists that Jordan had no involvement in the deaths of David Harrington, Ricky Johnson, and Clayton McGeeney, who were discovered lifeless two days after the watch party on January 9.

Rodney Willis expressed his belief that his son would never engage in any harmful actions, emphasizing Jordan’s ongoing sorrow over the tragic loss of the three men. Jordan Willis, aged 38, hosted the watch party for the Kansas City Chiefs’ regular season finale against the Los Angeles Chargers.

According to Willis’ attorney, he maintains that he was unaware of the presence of the three men in his backyard. Willis went to bed assuming Harrington, Johnson, McGeeney, and an unidentified fourth person were still inside his home after the game, expecting them to leave for their respective homes later. Willis contends that he had no reason to check his backyard immediately after the party, as he was unaware of the men’s demise.

The attorney, John Picerno, explained in a NewsNation interview that Willis typically uses the front door and was unaware of the men in the backyard until he was informed on Tuesday. The bodies were eventually discovered by the fiancée of one of the deceased men, who broke into the house in search of them.
