Titans: Derrick Henry reveals NFL Draft proclamation that will break Dolphins fans hearts…

Titans’ Derrick Henry recently disclosed his preferred destination in the NFL draft, a revelation that may leave Dolphins fans disheartened. Henry expressed his desire to play for the Miami Dolphins during an interview on Bussin’ With The Boys, shedding light on the potential missed opportunity for Miami.

In the interview, Henry shared, “I wanted to go to Miami. That’s where I wanted to play. That’s where I thought I was going. I thought possibly I was gonna go to the Panthers. I thought a slim chance I was gonna come to the Cowboys, but I probably figured they’d take Zeke when they did.”

Ultimately, Henry was selected by the Tennessee Titans in the second round as the 45th overall pick. The Dolphins, choosing cornerback Xavien Howard with the 38th pick, still secured a valuable player, although the possibility of landing a standout running back like Henry might be regretted by fans.

Henry also mentioned the Carolina Panthers and Dallas Cowboys as potential landing spots. The Panthers, holding the 30th pick, opted for defensive tackle Vernon Butler. Meanwhile, the Cowboys selected Ezekiel Elliott with the fourth pick and Jaylon Smith with the 34th pick in that draft.

Despite his successful tenure with the Titans, Henry’s future in the NFL beyond the current season remains uncertain as he approaches free agency.
