Ben Crocker Returns to Collingwood: Former Magpie Set for VFL Comeback

After a four-year hiatus, former Collingwood player Ben Crocker is set to make a return to the Magpies, joining the Collingwood VFL side for the upcoming 2024 season. Crocker originally started his AFL journey with Collingwood in 2015 after being selected with the 65th pick in the draft. Despite contributing 26 games and 21 goals in the black and white uniform, he was delisted at the end of 2019. Subsequently, Crocker joined the Adelaide Crows for the abbreviated 2020 season, making seven appearances and scoring four goals before being delisted again. In 2021, he transitioned to Carlton’s VFL team, where he showcased his skills in 45 appearances, scoring a notable 84 goals in the Navy Blue guernsey. Now, the 26-year-old, known for his versatility as a hybrid midfield-forward option, is set to rejoin Collingwood’s VFL team for the upcoming season, marking his return to the Magpies’ fold after an eventful journey through different AFL clubs and VFL teams.
