3 MLB Players Secure Deals to Avoid Arbitration the they Ink Some Agreement…

Regarding the players who settled on agreements, Suárez has successfully avoided arbitration for the second consecutive year by securing a $5.05 million deal, according to sources.

This marks a notable increase from his $2.95 million earnings in 2023 when Suárez achieved a 4.18 ERA in 22 regular-season starts and delivered a strong postseason performance. His affiliation with the team remains intact through the 2025 season.

Additionally, the club has finalized agreements with pivotal bullpen contributors Hoffman and Soto, along with the versatile infielder Sosa.

The three other Phillies players eligible for arbitration – outfielder Jake Cave ($1 million), right-hander Dylan Covey ($850,000), and catcher Garrett Stubbs ($850,000) – have all agreed to one-year deals earlier in the offseason to sidestep the arbitration process.
