Giannis Antetokounmpo Breaks Silence on his Marriage Plan…

Is Milwaukee Bucks Star Giannis Antetokounmpo Set to Tie the Knot?

The girlfriend of the family-oriented basketball sensation, Mariah Riddlesprigger, sparked rumors of an impending wedding with her latest Instagram post. Riddlesprigger, who has been romantically linked with the ‘Greek freak’ since the mid-2010s, shared a suggestive video on her Instagram, featuring her and three friends raising champagne flutes in a bridal store.

The caption, “life lately,” accompanied by the video, triggered a flood of congratulatory comments and likes, with remarks like “The First Lady of the Milwaukee Bucks,” “Shopping for a wedding dress,” and “Getting married soon.” However, it remains unconfirmed whose wedding is being hinted at in the post, leaving fans eagerly anticipating further details.

Antetokounmpo, a two-time NBA Most Valuable Player renowned for his strong family values, often spends time with his three basketball-playing brothers. He frequently incorporates references to his family in interviews, and even his signature Nike shoes pay homage to his familial ties.

Riddlesprigger, originally from Fresno, California, completed her high school education at Bullard High School and graduated from Rice University in 2014 with a degree in sport management and sociology. She interned at the NBA Summer League for two consecutive years during her university tenure and later served as a basketball operations intern with the Philadelphia 76ers.

The couple welcomed their first child, Liam, in 2017, followed by the birth of their second son, Maverick, in 2021. Earlier this year, they welcomed a daughter named Eva. Although the couple hinted at their engagement, no official announcement has been made.

During a press conference in September, where they promoted charity work for Milwaukee’s Diaper Mission, the seven-time NBA All-Star mentioned, “Soon I’m going to be married to this beautiful woman next to me.”

Antetokounmpo, born on December 6, 1994, is the son of Charles Antetokounmpo, a former football player, and Veronica Antetokounmpo, who had a background in high jumping. The Antetokounmpo family comprises five siblings – four brothers and one sister.

Among the basketball-playing brothers, three have secured NBA championships, with Giannis’ second oldest sibling, Thanasis, being his teammate at the Bucks and winning the 2021 NBA title alongside him. Kostas, another sibling, played in the NBA as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers.
