Texans’ DeMeco Ryans Issues Shocking Claims On C.J. Stroud’s Real Health Status…

DeMeco Ryans, the coach of the Houston Texans, is taking a cautious approach to C.J. Stroud’s potential return to the lineup.

Despite the growing uncertainty about Stroud’s availability for Week 16, Ryans asserted on Wednesday that the team would not hasten the return of their valuable quarterback. Ryans emphasized that they are committed to allowing Stroud to return only when he is fully prepared.

Providing an update on Stroud’s condition, Ryans acknowledged improvement but noted that the quarterback is still in the NFL’s concussion protocol, a result of the head injury he sustained in Week 14 against the New York Jets.

In that game, Stroud left in the fourth quarter after a head injury from being slammed onto the turf. The following week, he remained in the protocol, causing him to miss the Texans’ Week 15 victory over the Tennessee Titans.

Ryans underscored the individualized nature of concussion recovery, stating that it varies from person to person. He urged patience in dealing with Stroud’s situation, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing the quarterback’s health over a hasty return to the field.

While acknowledging the uncertainty surrounding Stroud’s timeline for recovery, Ryans downplayed the notion that Stroud might be sidelined for the remainder of the season, expressing confidence that when Stroud is fully healed, he will be ready to resume play.
