Trey Hendrickson, the leading sack performer for the Cincinnati Bengals this season with 15 sacks, recently faced consequences from the NFL for a late hit during their game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Despite his impressive season and franchise record-breaking performance against the Vikings, Hendrickson was fined $21,855 by the NFL for the aforementioned late hit.
This incident, considered a rare mistake from the veteran pass rusher, resulted in a penalty that extended the Colts’ drive and culminated in a touchdown pass by Gardner Minshew on fourth down.
