Buffalo Bills’ Ground Game Shines in Dominant Victory Against Dallas Cowboys…Cook Reacts

In a standout performance at Highmark Stadium on Sunday, the Buffalo Bills showcased their prowess in a commanding win over the Dallas Cowboys. Quarterback Kyle Allen took charge of the offense with over 10 minutes left in the game, marking a departure from the typical dominance we’ve seen from the Bills in recent seasons.

Unlike previous victories led by Josh Allen’s arm or Stefon Diggs’ precise route running, this game highlighted one of the most impressive rushing attacks seen during the Allen era. Running back James Cook’s stellar performance on Sunday added another highlight to his burgeoning career, drawing comparisons to legendary Bills running back Thurman Thomas.

Cook, however, humbly attributes his success to the outstanding performance of the offensive line, affectionately referred to as the “hog mollies.”

According to ESPN’s Alaina Getzberg, the Bills’ offensive line achieved an impressive 84.1% run block win rate, marking their highest since ESPN began tracking this stat in 2017—the same year head coach Sean McDermott and general manager Brandon Beane took over the team.

If the Bills and their formidable offensive line can maintain this level of dominance displayed against Dallas, their playoff prospects look promising and challenging to ignore.
