I relocated to Miami from Kansas City, and during a recent conversation on RG3 and The Ones, Tyreek Hill candidly discussed the personal dynamics that influenced his decision.
Hill, a wide receiver traded to the Dolphins in 2022, humorously expressed his frustrations within the Chiefs’ offensive structure.
In a lighthearted manner, he revealed feeling hurt and jealous for not being Patrick Mahomes’ primary target, sharing that Mahomes’ close relationship with All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce played a role both on and off the field.
Hill emphasized the perceived favoritism, citing instances where he wasn’t invited to Mahomes’ home like Kelce was.
Despite now being with the Dolphins for almost two seasons, Hill still playfully mentions the connection between Mahomes and Kelce as a factor behind his move.
When asked about his on-field connection with Mahomes compared to current Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa, Hill humorously replied that he had always been the main focus for quarterbacks throughout his life until joining Kansas City, where he felt like the ‘side chick’ in the dynamic between Mahomes and Kelce.
