Man Utd ‘will be among top clubs queuing up’ for Stokie keeper…

Stoke City’s Jon Walters and former player Peter Crouch believe that Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, described as a “first-class goalkeeper,” will attract interest from top clubs if he doesn’t secure a regular starting position.

Ramsdale has been limited to five Premier League appearances this season due to the unexpected recruitment of David Raya by manager Mikel Arteta.

Despite his popularity among fans and teammates, pundits suggest that Ramsdale may need to leave Arsenal to play consistently and maintain his international aspirations.

Walters expressed his admiration for Ramsdale on social media, stating that multiple top clubs, including Manchester United, would be interested in signing him if he becomes available.

Crouch, watching the game for TNT Sports, concluded that Ramsdale needs to move on to fulfill his desire to be part of the England set-up, especially for the Euros.

Rio Ferdinand, also in the punditry studio, emphasized that Ramsdale’s unique journey, including spells at different clubs and overcoming adversity, might make it challenging for him to stay at Arsenal as a backup goalkeeper if he doesn’t get sufficient playing time in important competitions like the Premier League and Champions League.
