Wolves are set to gain £40 on an outstanding player amid interest for Saudi Pro League, and his replacement has already being found…

Wolverhampton Wanderers’ goalkeeper, Jose Sa, is attracting significant interest from Saudi Arabian clubs, with a potential £40 million deal in the works.

Despite recently signing a new contract with Wolves, Sa has become a target for Saudi Pro League teams due to his exceptional performance this season, contributing to Wolves’ rise in the league standings and defensive strength.

Known for his outstanding skills, Sa aligns well with the profile sought by the Saudi Pro League, presenting an opportunity for Wolves to secure a substantial financial gain.

The recent sale of Ruben Neves during the summer likely makes Wolves more open to considering such offers, given the financial advantages of selling to SPL sides.

Reports indicate that Sa is being actively pursued by Saudi clubs, and a transfer fee in the range of £40 million is being discussed, a sum that would undoubtedly capture Wolves’ interest given their recent financial considerations.

The departure of Sa is seen as a real possibility by the club, prompting goalkeeping coach Neil Cutler to already begin the search for a suitable replacement.

Wolves have reportedly identified Guillaume Restes as an ideal replacement for Sa. At just 18 years old, Restes is already showing promise as a future world-class goalkeeper. Although he faced some inconsistency, as evident in a match against Liverpool, where he conceded only one goal (with an own goal also recorded), Restes remains a top option.

Wolves had previously expressed interest in signing Restes in October, and a potential Sa sale could accelerate their move in the goalkeeping market. However, given Restes’ age, some level of patience may be required for his development despite his evident talent.
