Cincinnati Bengals QB Confirms Status Of Newest Injury…

Cincinnati Bengals’ quarterback, Joe Burrow, confirmed the latest injury he sustained during the Sunday Night Football game against the Buffalo Bills.

Cameras captured a bloody finger on his throwing hand, but the Bengals’ medical team assessed the injury, and Burrow continued to play the entire game. He completed 31 out of 44 passes, accumulating 348 yards and two touchdown throws.

After the game, reporters inquired about his hand injury, and in a video shared by Santosh Kumar, Burrow downplayed it as a minor issue, describing it as a “little scratch.” According to Paul Dehner Jr. from The Athletic, Burrow characterized it as a small cut.

While any hand injury is a concern for a quarterback, it appears that this injury won’t significantly hinder Burrow in the future.

It’s worth noting that he previously endured a more severe injury during training camp and played through a calf injury as the Bengals had a tough start with a 0-3 record.

However, since Week 4, the Bengals have improved significantly, winning five of their last six games.
