Damar Hamlin sends a ‘strong  and shocking’ message to Bengals amid his return from injury…

Damar Hamlin, the Buffalo Bills safety, might not get to play in Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals at Paycor Stadium. Despite this, he’s prepared to face the flood of emotions that returning to the field where he faced a life-threatening situation brings.

Hamlin recently appeared on Bills linebacker Von Miller’s podcast and shared his sentiments about the upcoming game, which is expected to hold significance for both teams. He expressed, “I believe it will be an incredibly charged atmosphere, filled with nothing but love.

The only point of reference I have is going back to our own stadium, where I received so much warmth and support. Returning there will undoubtedly stir up a multitude of memories, making it an emotional experience for me. But I’m not avoiding it; I’m ready to confront the challenges.”

Throughout the current season, Hamlin has not had the opportunity to play, as he has consistently remained on the inactive list since the preseason concluded. In the three preseason games for Buffalo, Hamlin managed to record a total of 10 tackles.

Although Hamlin missed Wednesday’s practice due to illness, he returned as a full participant on Thursday and Friday. It remains uncertain whether the Bills will activate Hamlin for Sunday’s game. Given the team’s struggles with injuries in the secondary this season, he could potentially offer depth in the defensive backfield and contribute to special teams.

Nevertheless, Hamlin’s game status is of secondary importance on a night that is poised to transcend the realm of football. Buffalo and Cincinnati are set to kick off on Sunday night at 8:20 p.m. ET, with emotions and significance far beyond the field itself.
