Walsall Grapples with Prolonged Injuries to Key Players, Faces Defensive Woes…

Walsall faces fresh setbacks with prolonged injuries for Harry Williams and Aramide Oteh. Oteh’s hamstring injury, originally anticipated to sideline him for four to six weeks, has turned out to be more severe, necessitating surgery.

He is now expected to be out of action for a lengthy 12-week period. Meanwhile, Harry Williams, after rolling his ankle in training, is also expected to miss four to six weeks of play, further adding to Walsall’s defensive challenges.

In more positive news, David Okagbue has made a return after a six-week absence due to an ankle injury, providing some relief, especially since Walsall’s defensive options are limited.

Oisin McEntee and Freddie Draper’s availability is uncertain for the upcoming FA Cup first-round match against Sheppey United, and Priestley Farquharson and Rollin Menayese remain unavailable.
