Tom Knowles, the Walsall winger, has Mat Sadler’s support as he believes there’s untapped potential in Knowles.
Despite a challenging season start marked by injuries, illnesses, and suspensions that caused him to miss six of the first nine league games, the 25-year-old has now participated in the last six matches across various competitions.
During this recent stint, he contributed with assists against Newport and Mansfield. Sadler is optimistic about Knowles’ prospects and his return to the team.
Sadler expressed the team’s eagerness for Knowles to return and acknowledged that it’s unfair to judge him solely based on the time he missed.
With two or three consecutive 90-minute appearances, Knowles is starting to showcase his exceptional skills, and Sadler believes there’s still more to come from him, as well as other players in the group.
