An exact return date remains uncertain for Walsall defender Priestley Farquharson, as he continues to grapple with a lingering foot injury, according to comments from manager Mat Sadler.
The player, who arrived at Walsall from Newport during the summer, has been sidelined for the past eight matches since sustaining the injury during a 3-1 loss to Wimbledon in September.
In addition to this, he missed the initial five league games of the season due to injury and has made just four appearances so far.
Sadler expressed his frustration with the situation and emphasized the team’s desire to have Farquharson back on the field, but at present, there is no specific timeline for his potential return.
The club is committed to supporting his recovery and taking it day by day.
