Forest Green Rovers Stages a Sensational Scene amid victory Over Crawley Town…

Forest Green Rovers staged a remarkable comeback to secure a 2-1 victory over Crawley Town and move three points clear of the League Two relegation zone.

In a thrilling match, Callum Morton scored twice to overturn Ronan Darcy’s early goal, granting Rovers only their second home win of the season. Forest Green owed their win to a series of excellent saves by James Belshaw.

Crawley initially took the lead when Darcy capitalized on a short corner routine and slotted the ball home off the post just seven minutes into the game. Rovers equalized in the 27th minute as Morton, displaying great skill, found space in the penalty area and fired the ball past Town’s goalkeeper Corey Addai.

Morton extended his tally just before halftime, calmly converting a Kyle McAllister flick-on to give Rovers the lead going into the break. Forest Green’s goalkeeper, Belshaw, made a fantastic reaction save to deny Klaidi Lolos’ deflected attempt around the hour mark.

While Forest Green came close to adding a third goal, Addai’s fine diving stop prevented them from doing so, and the match concluded with no further goals.
