Denver Broncos Face Trade Dilemma with Star Player Jerry Jeudy as Deadline Nears

The Denver Broncos are currently entertaining trade offers for one of their star players as the Tuesday trade deadline approaches, but rival teams seem to be dissatisfied with the way negotiations have been handled by Sean Payton’s team.

According to Mike Florio from Pro Football Talk, there has been a noteworthy trade offer made for wide receiver Jerry Jeudy. However, Florio didn’t provide specific details about the offer, and it appears that Denver has not displayed any willingness to accept it.

Furthermore, another report surfaced over the weekend, suggesting that the Broncos have set a significantly high asking price for Jeudy. If they remain steadfast in their demands, the likelihood of a trade happening seems quite low.

This season, Jeudy has recorded only 25 receptions for 286 yards. Many had high hopes for him in Payton’s offensive scheme, but he has struggled to consistently deliver on those expectations.

Although he was a first-round draft pick in 2020 and is still just 24 years old, Jeudy has grappled with injuries and hasn’t demonstrated the characteristics of a bona fide number one wide receiver. While it’s possible that a change of scenery might help him reach his full potential, it’s doubtful that any team would be eager to part with a high draft pick to test if the former Alabama standout can live up to his promise.
