Penn State Nittany Lions head coach pulls a shocking reaction to harsh criticism…

“It’s completely reasonable to be evaluated by all of these aspects.”

Penn State Nittany Lions head coach James Franklin has faced substantial backlash for his limited success in significant matchups. In the wake of this week’s defeat against the Ohio State Buckeyes, he openly acknowledged that he deserves the criticism.

Following this recent loss to the Ohio State Buckeyes, James Franklin now boasts a dismal 1-10 record against Ohio State, a 1-15 record against top-10 opponents in the regular season, and a 1-17 record against road opponents that end the season with a ranking. He openly concedes that he should be subject to criticism for these statistics.

“I believe it’s entirely justified to assess me and my team for all of it,” Franklin expressed during his recent press conference, as reported by On3. “This encompasses the highs, the lows, the consistency, and the lack of success in those crucial games. It’s fair to evaluate me on all these fronts.”

Nevertheless, Franklin also highlights that he should be appraised for his “entire body of work,” which encompasses all his achievements at Penn State.

“I also believe it’s important to consider the complete body of work, all of it, which I won’t delve into today,” Franklin remarked. “But it’s perfectly reasonable to evaluate me based on all these aspects, the entirety of my work, both the accomplishments and shortcomings.”

Franklin has consistently positioned Penn State as one of the nation’s premier programs and a contender in the Big Ten. However, fans understandably wish for greater success in high-stakes matchups.
