The team selection, which left Alex Mowatt and Jayson Molumby on the bench, raised concerns as they were considered more capable of contributing offensively than the starting midfield duo of Okay Yokuslu and Nathaniel Chalobah.
Although Grady Diangana showed promise on the wings, there was a lack of support for his attacking runs. Hendrie believed that changes were necessary during the break to improve West Brom’s performance.
