Wales Makes Replacement in Rugby World Cup 2023 Squad Following Faletau’s Injury…

Head coach Warren Gatland has introduced a change to the Wales squad for the Rugby World Cup 2023 in France.

In response to number-eight Taulupe Faletau’s arm injury during the Pool C match against Georgia, scrum-half Kieran Hardy has been called up as his replacement.

Explaining the decision, Gatland stated, ‘Given our current depth in the back row, we’ve opted to bring in Kieran to bolster our scrum-half options and alleviate some training pressure.’

Here is an updated list of the Wales squad for the Rugby World Cup 2023:

Forwards:

  • Prop: Corey Domachowski, Tomas Francis, Dillon Lewis, Nicky Smith, Gareth Thomas, Henry Thomas.
  • Hooker: Elliot Dee, Ryan Elias, Dewi Lake.
