Port Vale manager Andy Crosby has issued a warning to Portsmouth, suggesting that his team has demonstrated the ability to secure a victory at Fratton Park.
Despite Portsmouth’s recent four consecutive league wins and the expected tough challenge for Port Vale, Crosby is determined to take on John Mousinho’s confident squad.
He pointed to Port Vale’s recent victory at Oxford as evidence that they could achieve a similar result at Fratton Park.
Crosby emphasized that his team is working on improving their on-field fluidity and mentioned the difficulties they’ve faced in defending their box and creating chances in the final third.
However, he expressed optimism about the progress they’ve made over the past month, despite the results not yet reflecting it. Crosby praised the honesty and cohesion of his players, saying he’s proud of their quick development as a close-knit group.
