As the saying goes, after the first ten games of the season, you typically get a sense of how the league table is shaping up.
If that’s indeed the case, then the current league standings are a sight to behold.
Fans of the Reds must have woken up on cloud nine this Sunday, as their team sits joint-top of League Two, level on twenty points with Notts County.
Their latest game against local rivals Sutton United ended in a resounding 3-0 victory, although it’s worth noting that Crawley had to work hard for those points. The second-half performance played a significant role in securing the win.
The entire team exudes confidence, playing some of the most attractive football we’ve ever witnessed.
Looking ahead to October, it promises to be a hectic month with a flurry of games on the schedule. Wrexham will be visiting the sold-out Broadfield Stadium this Saturday.
Their presence in the EFL hasn’t been as smooth as some might have expected, especially the Hollywood celebrities associated with Wrexham.
Nevertheless, the Welsh side is just four points behind Crawley, and we know that fortunes in football can change rapidly.
